SOLD AS A SET OF 4 SHOCK ABSORBERS Process -The shock development hasnt been short, the Carbon RR 2.5 Shocks have been rigorously tested here in Australian for the past 3 years on a large selection of vehicles and applications - Landcruiser 79 series, 200 series, Ford Ranger, VW Amarok, Toyota Hilux, Nissan Patrols and Mitsubishi Tritons, with critical feedback from owners of these vehicles to fine tune the dampers to ensure longevity and improve ride control characteristics. These were tested on heavily laiden outback tourers, towing vehicles and offroaders wanting maximum flex.   Focus - Our number one goal was to bring to the market an improved ride quality better than what has been on offer to the Australian market. We have achieved this by listening to feedback from 4wd owners and making improvements with compression/rebound dampening forces and ensuring ride control is at its optimum. Gas heating is used for the furnaces for their clean and efficient heating All coils are made with a computer controlled process for precise tolerances Once the coil has been rolled it is placed into an oil quenching bath at 850 degrees Celsius and hardened to 62 HRC Rockwell Hardness. the coil is then tempered in an oven at 400 degrees Celsius and is tempered to 54 HRC If the coil requires a flat seat it is the ground to suit in a computer controlled wet grinder The coil si then shot peened to stress relieve the outer surface for a uniformed finish and optimal power coat surface Dipped in phosphate for corrosion protection Epoxy powder coated for a durable finish and presentation
