This winch mounting spacer kit was requested by owners of winch bull bars that were specifically made to fit the narrow style Warn High Mount Winches. A lot of people simply want to run a low mount style winch like the Carbon Winch CW-12k winch. The main issue with these high mount winch bullbars is the centre cradle usually has wings that sweep back to the main part of the bar, meaning the wider low mount winch will hit on the electric motor side before it's able to reach the mounting cradle surface. and

Our 25mm thick spacers will provide sufficient clearance rearward to clear the motor on the bullbars. We slotted the holes to allow for tolerances on the bar and allow you to position the spacer to your desired mounting position. and

There are no bolts supplied with this kit, due to multiple applications and mounting situations it's hard to cater for every application. You can source Grade 8.8 high tensile mounting bolts in your required length from any hardware or bolt supplier. and

This shackle is designed for seriously heavy duty use. With testing done on some insanely large bull dozers and other heavy equipment we can clearly state these soft shackles are a serious bit of kit and totally suitable for heavy vehicle use. The shackle is 700mm long when opened, allowing a large relief when connecting to big ropes, straps and recovery points. The oversize knot as shown in the images will ensure that it will never release while under load.

Why do I need recovery gear?
Whether you're traveling alone or in a group of mates, having a selection of recovery gear to take on most situations is paramount when heading off road, you can never be too prepared for the unknown.
A simple recovery with the right gear and know-how can be a quick exercise and you�re back on your way, but without the right recovery gear you could be stuck in your situation for days, turning an easy off-road getaway into an expensive nightmare.
A few things to consider when selecting the right kit for your 4wd - Do I own a winch- Will I be going 4wding alone or with other people- Will I be in an area that has objects or other vehicles to recover off- What rated recovery gear do I have or require for a safe recovery- Am I replacing my recovery gear as my current setup is old and frayed
It is recommended that the minimum breaking strength of the strap should be between 2 and 3 times the gross vehicle mass (GVM) of any vehicle it is used with. It is advised that the strap must be suited to the gross vehicle mass (GVM) of the lighter of the 2 vehicles used in the recovery process.
