After more than 3 years of R&D we have finally got our Amarok 2.5 inch IFP monotube Coilovers and 2.0 IFP Rear shock kit in production from Carbon Winches & Offroad Products Australia.
This shock setup has been on vehicles and tested here in Aus over the last few years, after 4 versions of prototyping and fine tuning we have been able to get all allowable travel with stock and aftermarket UCA installed for both V6 and 2.0L Roks. We decided to run with a 2.0 rear shock mainly due to the 2.5 inch inverted housing fitment causing clearance issues on tanks. Given the fact that the piston in our shock is much larger than stock and all twin tube shock options, there is no detriment to running a smaller body shock on the rear.
The coil spring is custom made to our specifications. It features a progressive rate winding which provides excellent on-road daily driving comfort which the Roks are known for, so you don't lose this with this upgrade, and combined with the preload adjustable coil seat, the ability to dial in the ride height exactly where you need it. Depending on your accessory load we have a few different coilover coils to suit your setup.

The Carbon Offroad Remote Remote 2.5 inch body monotube shocks kit is a class leader in premium shock manufacturing. Front Shocks feature 22mm diameter shafts for extra strength, with 18mm diameter shafts on the rear shocks.

Please be advised due to the Toyotas KDSS System we are not responsible for the 200 series lean problems associated with this vehicle.
If your vehicle is equipped with the KDSS System please be aware that you may need to adjust one side of your vehicle higher than the other to compensate for this system. This problem is not covered under our product warranty.
Fitting Note: and Due to the long travel nature of this shock, when fitting check clearance of the lower front strut peg to the inside of the lower strut mount at full droop. Through our R&D we note that the leg gets close at full droop so it may be required to dremel or file for 1mm clearance at full droop. Due to the large tolerances in OE manufacturing, we cannot guarantee it won't clear on every vehicle. The benefit is that you will be getting the most available travel from a bolt on and shocks system in the market.

Process -The shock development hasnt been short, the Carbon RR 2.5 Shocks have been rigorously tested here in Australian for the past 4 years on a large selection of vehicles and applications - Landcruiser 79 series, 200 series, Ford Ranger, VW Amarok, Toyota Hilux, Nissan Patrols and Mitsubishi Tritons, with critical feedback from owners of these vehicles to fine tune the dampers to ensure longevity and improve ride control characteristics. These were tested on heavily laiden outback tourers,towing vehicles and offroaders wanting maximum flex .
Focus - Our number one goal was to bring to the market an improved ride quality better than what has been on offer to the Australian market. We have achieved this by listening to feedback from 4wd owners and making improvements with compression/rebound dampening forces and ensuring ride control is at its optimum.
We understood that most 4wd vehicles currently are "the daily driver" and require a high level of on-road control and comfort but also need to take the abuse of high speed off-road applications like corrugations and out-back dirt driving while offering control in slow off camber situation.
