This winch rope is a UHMWPE braided core with polyester outer braid sheath for abrasion protection and UV resistance. As well as looking awesome this rope is very nice to handle, similar construction to climbing rope but using the light and strong UHMWPE rope fibre core to provide the additional strength required for winching activities. This rope is a great upgrade for any 4x4 winch for most models it will simply bolt into the existing lug where the steel cable is connected to the drum.

With larger modulus gearsets, increased motor horsepower and standard inclusions from our premium accessory range including the Mega-Pro Winch Rope Thimble and Mega-Pro Premium Fairlead, you are getting a best of the best package straight out of the box.
The Scout Pro series winches share the same 2023 Version 3 Winch Chassis as our tried and tested 12K winch. This allows fitment into most larger 4x4 utes and 4x4 Wagons. Due to the longer 7.0HP Motor, you should consult the technical drawing to determine clearance and fitment length on your winch mount. Most larger vehicles such as RAM, F-Truck and Silverado are generally wide enough to not be a problem, Fitment to any dual cab, 70 series, 200 series or any other similar sized 4wd wagon should be confirmed prior to purchase. The responsibility of the fitment is that of the end-user or installer.
The 9000lb winch comes with 10mm high density pre stretched premium UHMWPE winch rope rated at a whopping 9000kg minimum breaking strain.

The Flatlink E replaces the conventional winch hook with a stronger shackle/D-Ring mount, and folds neatly into the fairlead when not in use. Features include a precision shackle mounting hole and a folding design giving you a lower profile, and allowing for a better approach angle than ProLink. FlatLink doesn’t require splicing and is compatible with steel or synthetic ropes. It attaches with a super-strong aerospace-grade double-shear titanium pin and snap ring, which is easily installed in minutes. The EPDM rubber guards protect alloy fairleads, prevents rattling, and is securely attached to the FlatLink with four barbed tips.
The large pear shaped shackle mounting hole allows for attachment to either the pin or bow end of common screw pin shackles, as well as common OEM recovery points. This makes the new FlatLink E more versatile than the current FlatLink design, but it also adds the possibility of a dangerous shackle side loading condition, especially during momentary slack conditions. A shackle side loading condition is not possible with our standard FlatLink shackle mount due to the shackle pin mounting constraint. For the recreational off roader we highly recommend the safer standard FlatLink product, not the FlatLink E. This way the winch operator does not have to monitor whether the shackle may have shifted and rotated in the recovery tackle. This product is compatible with Closed System Winching®, a technique that uses rigging comprised entirely of closed-link hardware. With Closed System Winching you get the extra security and confidence needed to tackle the most demanding winch recoveries.
