RR2579FS
Description
The Toyota LandCruiser has built a strong reputation as a tough and reliable 4WD, but it lacks comfort and control. Complete your build with Carbon Remote Reservoir RR2.5 shocks for your 76, 78, and 79 Series and achieve the perfect ride.
Carbon RR 2.5 Adjustable Shock Absorbers
Perfect the ride you want – 20 stage adjustable damping control valve
The new range of remote reservoir monotube shocks from Carbon is ready to take on anything you can throw at it.
SOLD AS A SET OF 4 SHOCK ABSORBERS
Process
The development of the Carbon RR 2.5 shocks has been extensive, with over 3 years of testing in Australia across a wide range of vehicles including LandCruiser 79 Series, 200 Series, Ford Ranger, VW Amarok, Toyota Hilux, Nissan Patrol, and Mitsubishi Triton.
These shocks have been tested on heavily loaded touring vehicles, towing setups, and off-road vehicles. Feedback from owners was used to fine-tune damping performance for durability and improved ride control.
Focus
Our goal was to deliver improved ride quality beyond what is currently available in the Australian market. This was achieved by refining compression and rebound damping for optimal ride control.
Most 4WD vehicles are daily drivers and require both comfort on-road and control off-road. These shocks are designed to handle high-speed corrugations, dirt roads, and slow off-camber conditions.
Why Choose Carbon?
Carbon Remote Reservoir shocks offer up to 110% more fluid volume compared to a standard 35mm twin-tube shock. This increased oil capacity helps keep the system cooler and improves ride stability.
With a 3.75mm body thickness compared to the 1.2–1.6mm found in most twin-tube shocks, these provide superior strength, durability, and reliability.
Dial in Your Ride
A 20-stage billet alloy adjustment knob on the remote reservoir allows precise control of damping. This gives you the ability to fine-tune your ride exactly how you want it.
Build Quality
The Carbon RR2.5 shocks feature high-quality billet alloy anodised mounts and are fully rebuildable. Spare parts and support are available in Australia.
