The Carbon Offroad MegaPro Tow Hitch Receiver Recovery Point is a premium, versatile recovery solution designed to fit various 50mm receiver hitches. The MegaPro Hitch features a smooth-edged shackle mount, designed for safe use with synthetic rope soft shackles. It can also accommodate a Carbon Offroad 4.25T Bow Shackle, offering flexibility in attachment methods. Mounting Options and Versatility When using the MegaPro Hitch, you can choose between horizontal and vertical shackle point orientations. This flexibility allows for optimal recovery scenarios, regardless of the vehicle's position or the angle of pull. Upward-facing shackle point: Enables lateral movement, ideal for situations where the recovering vehicle is not directly in front of the one being recovered. Sideways-facing shackle point: Allows for vertical movement, accommodating recoveries on inclines or declines. Testing and Durability The MegaPro Hitch underwent rigorous Nata-accredited testing by Mechtest in Brisbane, Australia. While the mounting pin failed at nearly 20 tonnes, the recovery point itself remained intact, demonstrating exceptional strength and durability. The only damage sustained was a slight deformation to the hitch due to the bent pin.

The Carbon Offroad Monkey Fist Soft Shackle is an absolute winner! The 10mm UHMWPE rope is rated at a minimum breaking strain of 15 tonnes, and with a super heavy duty braided tight sheath over the core, this shackle is built to take some abuse. The oversized Monkey Fist knot ensures that there is zero chance of the shackle ever coming apart during a recovery. The braided heavy duty sheath allows you to go straight through a regular recovery point. However, make sure the recovery point is in good condition, as the shackles can be damaged if the recovery point has nicks and burrs from previous use.  Easy diassembly of the shackle after load is applied is just as easy, if not easier, than a steel shackle. Rope shackles can be used for a number of purposes, such as: Connecting your vehicle to a snatch strap or kinetic rope Connecting a tree trunk protector strap to the winch hook Connecting two straps together to extend your reach They also give you further options, such as using them as an attachment point around a chassis rail or crossmember. The Carbon Offroad Monkey Fist Kinetic Recovery Rope is a Nylon66(polyamide) double braided core and sheath rope with a specific gravity of 1.21. It is specifically treated with a special coating of the core fibre and sheath fibre which provides a 15% increase in abrasion resistance over similar ropes without the coating. With an average diameter of 24mm, and a breaking strain in excess of 12,000kg, our Carbon Offroad Kinetic Recovery Rope is a true winner when it comes to offroad recovery performance. With a weight of 378gm per metre, it is lightweight but incredibly strong. Nylon is a dynamic fibre, when braided into a rope like ours it offers a high degree of stretch, allowing you to conduct a very safe, progressive recovery without huge shock loading on the vehicle. The Carbon Offroad Monkey Fist Winch Extension Rope is an important winch accessory. You've probably come across plenty of times where that tree or anchor is just a little bit too far away. It's also handy to reduce the distance of an anchor if doing a double line pull. Our winch extension being rated a minimum breaking strain of 7000kg is suitable for use with all of the winches in our Carbon Winch range. Made from UHWMPE Fibre + Polyester Outer Braided Sheath with velcro packing strap.  The current batch also contains a luminous fibre to help visibility at night under torch or vehicle lights.  MBS - 7000kg

The Carbon Offroad Monkey Fist winch rope thimble is a great bit of kit. Stop cutting your hands up on old winch hooks with nasty spring gates, this winch thimble offers a user friendly experience when it comes to setting up a winch recovery.  Rating 10,000KG H/D 22mm Stainless Steel Pin The thimble is simply pulled into the fairlead for storage, it is perfectly sized to grab hold of with one hand, leaving the other hand free to help scramble up a hill, or connect up a shackle.  With a 6061 T6 Alloy CNC machined section of billet alloy, this is one sexy bit of gear. Make a statement, get rid of your old hook and get this functional piece of winching gear on your rig. It is Type 3 hard anodised to Milspec requirements allowing your investment in good gear to last through the course of time in our harsh Australian conditions.  The attachment point is compatible with synthetic rope soft shackles and also 4.25T steel bow shackles. The nice radius edges on the mounting eye will not damage your soft shackle. The circlip secured winch rope pin mount means you don't have to stuff around with splicing this onto your winch rope, simply remove the hook and replace with our winch thimble.
